About the Author
Shaykh Muḥammad Saʿīd Ramaḍān al-Būṭī (1929–2013) was one of the most respected traditional Sunni scholars in the Arab world. He authored over 60 books on theology, fiqh, spirituality, and biography. Known for his humility and deep spirituality, he was martyred in 2013 while giving a sermon in a mosque in Damascus during the Syrian civil war.
